Assign Entry #4: Capitalism: A Love Story

Michael Moore denounces the capitalist system, he analyzes the global financial crisis and that the U.S. economy is in decline. The director makes a call to social class revolution against the businessmen who do not hesitate to enrich themselves at the expense of the lives of people. All a person receives without working for, another person must work for it, but without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything, unless they would take it from somebody else. When half of the people come to the conclusion that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half is convinced that it is worth working because someone will take away what they have achieved with effort. The movie is more than an eye opener because people kind of knew what is going on with our government, but this movie tells exactly what we don’t want to hear. With all of the fact and things Moore’s points out in the movie he also puts humor into it. And I think that is just the cherry on top, people end up watching the movie the movie because it’s funny, if it was just fact it would be boring.
